The Largest Paperclip In The World
I bet some of you have heard/red about the story of One Red Paperclip or heard about the Canadian blogger, Kyle MacDonald. Well, If you don't know what I'm talking about just click here: http://oneredpaperclip.blogspot.com/ and here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/One_red_paperclip
It was very, very interesting that I've been to the place where the largest paperclip in the world is located, in Kipling, Saskatchewan, Canada. I also took pictures of the Paperclip House which is only few steps away from my brother and sis in law's house. Been there for 2 weeks to visit them. Kipling is just a small town but fantastic! Beautiful scenery, nice people, nice weather, cool place to stay during summer time. I enjoyed a lot in Canada. My brother and his co-workers and friends drove me to some other places such as: Kenosee Lake, Super Slides, Town of Yorkton and to Regina, Canada the capital city of Saskatchewan Province.

The 5th U.S. President's Home
Hello, hello... I'm here again. Wow! after snow storm last weekend, we had nice weather today! 70's! meaning... no excuse, time for weekend walk again! We took a walk at The Saunders-Monticello Trail, the home of Pres. Thomas Jefferson. Anyway, I won't go into details about this place cause I haven't gone to his house yet, my husband and I are planning to but not this time we have to wait until spring time so it will be prettier when flowers are blooming and most of all our $20 entrance fee is worth lol! For more details about this historical place just visit : http://www.monticello.org
After taking a walk at Monticello, we proceed to Ash-Lawn Highland, the home of the 5th U.S. President, James Monroe, it is only 2.5 miles away from Thomas Jefferson's place. My husband and I took a tour inside his house and to his farm. Lots of interesting and expensive stuffs inside the house but absolutely no picture taking. You're only allowed to take pictures outside. You can visit: http://www.ashlawnhighland.org or you can visit Charlottesville, Virginia the historic downtown and the home of the Cavaliers!

Buffalo Mountain in Virginia - Home of Puto kosztarabi.
One of my favorite places is "The Buffalo Mountain" it is one of the most significant natural areas in Virginia, the elevation is 3,971 feet and it has public access facilities include a small parking area and a steep 1 mile hiking trail to the treeless summit. The mountain contains wildflowers, grasses, and rocks on the summit.
Buffalo Mountain is also the only known location in the world for a giant mealybug called Puto kosztarabi, though I haven't seen this creature yet.
Me and my husband used to climb Buffalo Mountain together with Dino and Bandit 3 - 5 times a year especially during winter time when the weather ain't too bad. I wanted to go there during summer but my husband doesn't like that idea because he is worried about snakes and too grassy., We're planning to climb there again this coming fall when the tress/leaves change into different colors.

Snow, Sleet and Freezing Rain!
Yay! Bad weather here! This morning my husband went to work while I was still in bed, it's always happened anyway LOL! After 2 hrs., he called me from work just to let me know that all schools were closed due to inclement weather but I already expected that and also got an automated email from the school system. I called my sister Balotlot, to ask how's the weather in their place 'cause we've been waiting for snow so Raven will experience her first snow and of course do the piktyur, pikyur! heheehe!
They had more inches of snow there but here in our place just light snow but it is mixed with sleet and freezing rain! worse!
Talking about my 2 lil puppies, oh! they enjoyed the snow. Bandit was sitting in the window while watching the snowflakes. When hubby got home, we took Dino and Bandit for a short walk.
